Fit guide
Size and measurement guide.
Use this guide to understand the measurements we discuss during a visit. For couture pieces, the final fit is always reviewed around posture, styling, and event use.
01
Key body measurements
Bust, waist, hip, shoulder, arm length, neck depth, and full length are usually required for collection articles.
For draped silhouettes, we also review fall, side seam comfort, and how the fabric should sit while moving.
02
Event shoes and styling
Wear or share the heel height you expect to use with the article.
If you plan to style with a dupatta, jacket, veil, or statement jewelry, tell the stylist during measurement.
03
Home visit preparation
Choose a private, well-lit space where measurements can be taken comfortably.
Keep a fitted base layer available so measurements stay accurate without compressing the body.
04
Fit preferences
Tell us whether you prefer a close, relaxed, modest, or movement-friendly fit.
The same body measurements can produce very different results depending on preference.
05
Alteration margin
Some designs allow limited final adjustment, while heavily finished or embroidered pieces may have less flexibility.
This is why the visit notes and confirmation stage matter before production begins.
06
When to remeasure
If your previous measurements are more than three months old or your body has changed, book a new fitting.
For important events, fresh measurements reduce avoidable last-minute fit stress.
